Ideas for Wedding Table Linens

Saturday, June 6th, 2009

Today’s bride-to-be has a number of decisions to make about her wedding and reception. One of these decisions can establish the feel for your whole reception. This decision is in regards to what table linens you will use.

Most people choose colored table linens that complement the color of their wedding. Another option is to take into consideration the theme of the wedding and utilize theme printed table linens. Whichever your choice may be, this is a big decision to make.

One of the simplest ways to help you determine which table linens you plan to use is to purchase or rent table linens from an internet wholesaler. They make it simple for you to match the table linens to the color or theme of the wedding because they can supply you with sample fabric swatches of the colors and fabrics used to produce the table linens. The wedding budget will be easier to stick to when you use a wholesaler because of the prices they offer.

A word of caution: Pick a wholesale company that specializes in all types of table linen which include tablecloths, napkins, placemats, chair covers and table skirts. When you fill all your table linen needs from the same supplier you can be sure that the colors and fabrics of each linen product complement each other.

Do you want to use table linens with a theme for your wedding but aren’t sure where to begin? Consider this. The print on a themed table linen might represent a special hobby or interest that you share as a couple. Maybe you enjoy boating, golfing or Nascar. Think about table linens with a design such as Anchors Away, Tee Time or a Racing Check. A wedding should be special and a reflection of you. Permit your imagination to go wild.

For a more romantic setting, use candle light along with satin table linens, lace table linens or fine table linens made from a fanciful fabric such as Monique, Pintuck or Cascade. Think about layering your wedding tablecloths with a sheer cloth such as Organza atop a solid colored polyester tablecloth. Complete the look with coordinating napkins, place mats, table skirts and chair covers. Add sparkle to the reception by using table linens made from Dazzle, Twinkle or Tissue Lame. The picks are truely unlimited.

Personal style and taste will be the deciding factor when it comes to choosing the ideal table linens for your wedding reception. Your wedding reception will be one that guests recollect for years to come.

How the Inland Empire Should Aspire to Be

Monday, August 25th, 2008

Driving through old town Pasadena really brings a clear perspective on what a cool downtown should be like. With its trendy bars and friendly restaurants it’s no wonder why there’s a nightlife any day of the week. There’s a place for everyone. Cool hip bars and restaurants to laid back hidden retreats for people who wish to get away from the lime light.

This cool nightlife is what the Inland Empire is lacking. There’s no real place to go to and have a cool dining experience. Simply put, the Inland Empire just sucks. There’s nothing to do here except look at the dirt fly by your face and watch the homeless wander around like zombies in the city streets. Not an idea of a fun nightlife to me.
As old as the Inland Empire is you would think there would be cool areas where developments like old town Pasadena or the Gas Lamp District in San Diego exists, but there isn’t any such thing in the IE.

This may be due to the fact that there isn’t enough space in the Inland Empire. I have to disagree with that notion. With massive plots of dirt and vacant buildings there seems to be plenty of space. I think in the end it’s the area and the people who lived there. The Inland Empire is not known for being wealthy or abundant with trendy rich people. That’s not to say there aren’t wealthy people that live in the IE, they just go out to LA or San Diego on the weekends. If they ever start to build a cool downtown area in the IE, then they should get in contact with this Inland Empire web design company to create a site for them.
