2006 Trends in Tracking Meteorites and Asteroids

Monday, January 11th, 2010

In 2005 Scientists made great headway is in locating new potential threats of objects which could potentially hit the Earth in the future and in calculating their exact tracks as to know exactly when and where they will be as we come close to those trajectories. In fact scientists have a pretty good handle on these things and can know several years in advance of possible Comet and Asteroid Strikes.

With meteors it is a little different as they are generally traveling in groups, we know when certain meteor showers will appear each year and we track those too. When the Japanese Space Team landed a probe on an Asteroid in November of 2005 it was thought that a sensor beacon be placed on to track it and see how close our calculations are next time it comes back around.

In 2005 our equipment and methods of tracking and finding such near Earth object of potential collision got much better and this is a tribute to many of the excellent researchers in the field.

In 2006 we will see more research into how to destroy a near Earth object or divert one which is on a collision course with Planet Earth. We will see more white papers on gravity manipulation and tractor beam theories. We will here more talk of turning those objects coming our way into mineral mining for our space needs and manufacturing on the Moon. Mankind will over come his fear of near Earth objects causing extinction of the species, as we learn how to control those objects. All this in 2006.

Accelerating Active Alerts for DHS

Tuesday, July 28th, 2009

If we are to catch, capture or kill all the International Terrorists we will need to think a little differently. One thing we need to do is set up a simple system, which allows us to Accelerate Active Alerts and use electronic instant messaging to do so.

These active alerts will use all possible means to disseminate the information to all citizens. Including using SPAM techniques, reverse 911 messages to all cell phones, instant messaging, Television and Radio. We are talking every wireless PDA, Blackberry, iPod, satellite radio, pager, video cell phone; you name it.

We can use our current technology to protect the American People, keep them informed and use the; Power of Presence to Win the War on Terror. I am quite confident we can do this if we put together a real plan of action and test it once per month. It will also assist in Tornadoes, Hurricanes, Earthquakes and Natural Disasters. Consider it an Amber Alert on Steroids or “Gone Wild” or the Spammer from hell or a new age Blogger Gone Ballistic.

How do I know this will work? Well as a Renaissance Man and a studier of human nature, systems, patterns, flows and cycles and being up on the latest technology; well let’s just say I know what I am talking about. Now we can just sit on our butts and argue in Congress and wait for the next intelligence failure, political fall-guy in the never ending blame game or we can get busy and join the reality of the Twenty First Century. So, do not say I did not tell you so and please consider all this in 2006.

Recycling Space Junk and Debris

Friday, June 5th, 2009

Well here we are in the year 2006 and what do we have? We have humans polluting space? That’s right we have space junk. We have old debris floating around out there and it is a dangerous thing. We need to get this stuff out of the way and also collect some of this debris to recycle? Why not, why waste it? It costs $100s of dollars to send up a single ounce and we have tons of debris floating up there now you see.

While we are on this most interesting subject, it maybe possible to tow the Hubble Space Telescope to the moon and any old modules we need to up grade on the ISS.

http://worldthinktank.net/wttbbs/index.php…er&f=105&t=1287

It is too bad MIR burned up or the old Space Lab, as we could have used that too on the moon and towed it there with a Space Shuttle or some future better suited and more advanced craft?

I guess it makes sense to see a chart of the space debris out there and the size of each piece and its value to see if this is feasible. It appears to be doable. The Space Debris Collection Vacuum also has military applications as it could also deliver a piece of space debris to an enemy missile, which went into orbit or an enemy killer satellite. Oh no the Anti-Space War Activists are going to want to kill me now?

But we might also use a piece of space debris against another piece of space debris to knock an old satellite out of orbit which has died due to electrical failure from a solar flare or space radiation too. So, although one might think of a military application, we probably will not need to worry about that need for two-decades, but it makes sense now to think about what we could use the space debris and space debris collectors for in that regard also?

Perhaps a rogue nation has a satellite, which they are using in mischievous ways and the United World Franchise Space Council [UWFSC] passes a resolution to remove it? I made that up, but we need one. There would be a United World Space Franchise Corp, each member would be a Franchisee and agree to basic standards. Meaning all the air-locks, mutual assistance systems, etc. would all be on the same page, for safety and smooth transitions as new technology becomes available. Incremental modularization would be much easier and smarter long-term.

Although in the original idea collecting and recycling space junk seems smart, we will have to check that against the ROI, but also we must collect the space junk anyway? So, do we let it burn up entering our atmosphere, use it on the moon or simply collect it and decide later? All interesting questions indeed.

Market Your Organisation’s Services with Promotional Videos

Tuesday, January 27th, 2009

Video commercials are a good instrument to publicise your organisation’s products & services. For sure there are lots of other marketing methods available from editorial writing to blogging, from PR to RSS. However, nothing says “cool, connection, & creativity” like a video.

Increasingly firms of all sizes are making commercial videos about their offerings. They’re not only adding them on their company sites, but they are adding them to their own blogs. To gain universal twenty-four-seven visibility, business videos are being published to dozens of video-sharing websites like You Tube and Google Video. And why not ? it is economical, easy to undertake, and can have an important impact, in a number of cases, on the traffic it sends to your website.

There are several other reasons why video commercials are a terrific way to promote your business.

Video commercials benefit from a large circulation: Videos by their own nature are straightforward to “package” which makes them easy to go into a range of different distribution channels. You can put them on your businesses website or blog, if you want you can save them onto your netbook & run them again & again at a business show event. You can post them to many Web video-sharing social sites. You can burn them onto DVDs & give them away or sell them. You can even send them by email.

Internet videos are an amazing way to communicate. As our knowledge of technology evolves, so do the techniques in which companies like to interact with others. Most people are visually oriented meaning that is how they best understand & work with their world. This makes videos online the perfect company strategy to communicate with today’s customers.

These are just a number of the several reasons why Internet videos might be a great way to advertise your firm’s products and services. Find out more about this topic to see how you might use your own time, budget, & energy to speak with your target market in a modern & attractive way. Vidify’s online video distribution partnerships ensure your video commercials generate awareness and impact within the right circles, fast.

Camouflage Applications for Convoys in the Field

Sunday, August 31st, 2008

Spray on Dirt is a great idea indeed to quickly repaint, temporarily vehicles in military convoys. When moving large convoys through the battlefield it is necessary to conceal his best possible your troops movements.

Today with satellites in space and unmanned aerial vehicles in the sky; there are all eyes everywhere. It is therefore very important to conceal your location as long as possible and hopefully see your enemy before they see you and fire upon them before they know what happened.

The idea of spray on dirt therefore makes sense, however many military tactics advisers say that spray on dirt is an expensive process, requires expert training and adds vehicles to the convoy and personnel to do the job. It just does not makes sense to put more than is absolutely needed at risk in the war zone.

Indeed, my thoughts are to KISS, simple equipment, basic application, fast, efficient and on the go. When advancing in the Modern Net-Centric Battlespace, speed is important. If a piece of hardware, one man submarine, Humvee, even a robotic Sandia “Sarge” type unit needs to be concealed then such a quick application system makes sense. Robotic arm could easily do a smaller unit to camouflage its self. Consider all those in 2006.
